Apply to PAFC
Entry to the academy is by trial and selection. New players apply for a trial first; players who have been offered a place go straight to academy registration.

We invite, or we don't
If there is room to assess your child in that age group, we confirm a trial date. If the squad is full, we say so.
Trial & assessment
Arrive in boots and shin pads with a parent or guardian, and train with the squad while the coaches assess.
The decision
Selected players are sent registration forms and an access code. Players who are not selected are told directly.

Never trained with us before? Apply for a trial. Registration comes only after our coaches have seen your child play and offered them a place.

Apply for a trial
A trial is an assessment. Your child trains with the squad for their age group while our coaches judge technical ability, decision- making, physical readiness and attitude. There is no fee and no commitment at this stage. Open to players from U9 through to U23, whatever their background, school or gender.

Academy registration
Official registration into a Pretoria Athletic squad for the season, for returning academy members and for players who have been offered a place after trial. Completed by email with our club secretary. If your child has not yet trialled, start with a trial application instead.

Registration forms
The three registration forms are locked. You do not need to fill in anything above to reach them: an access code on its own opens them. Nothing you type is sent anywhere, the files are unlocked in your own browser.
